Role in plants

Hydrogen is a fundamental component of water and almost all organic molecules. It is essential for growth and energy transfer reactions.

Deficiency symptoms

Not diagnosed as a nutrient deficiency. Limitation occurs through inadequate water availability (drought stress).

Toxicity symptoms

Not applicable in the fertiliser sense.
